Our client has long-term projects and are now seeking 3 Carpenters to join their growing team.Successful candidates must be willing to travel between Hawkes Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui and Wellington, depending on the client's needs.Accommodation and relocation costs will be covered by the client for the first two weeks of assignment.You will be offered:Permanent employment in line with NZ employment law, with a competitive remuneration package to match your experience ($30-$35 per hour)30-hour work week guaranteed. Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.Work for a recognised and successful kiwi companyTo be successful for this role, you need to have the following skills and 3 years' verifiable work experience in the construction industry.Successful candidates should have the following skills and experience:Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation proceduresOrdering and selecting timbers and materials and preparing layoutsCutting materials and assembling and nailing cut and shaped partsErecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structuresNailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window framesAssembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to installCutting wood jointsMay construct concrete formworkMay repair existing fittingsMay work with plastic laminates, perspex and metalsIf you think you have the skills, experience and work ethic we are looking for, please click the APPLY button and send your CV.
