Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a knack for maintaining, repairing and enhancing facilities?
We're seeking a new member to join the team and support the ongoing maintenance of properties and grounds.
This role is essential in ensuring facilities remain clean, well-maintained, and in optimal condition.
This role will be approx.
20 hours per week, Monday to Friday day shifts but flexibility is required as hours may change based on client demands.
This is a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and inspections.
Tidy and manage rubbish and recycling, ensuring all areas are clean and orderly.
Handle general handyman work, including fixing minor issues and conducting small-scale repairs.
Manage and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
Assist with the setup and takedown of events or activities as needed.
Ensure facilities comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with team members to address and resolve facility-related concerns.
Qualifications: Previous experience in facilities maintenance, caretaking, or handyman work is preferred.
Basic knowledge of maintenance techniques, cleaning procedures, and general repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle physical tasks and work in various conditions.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
