Job Description: Summerset Avonhead is looking for exceptional individuals who wish to kickstart their career as a Caregiver!
About the Role:
This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care to residents under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse
Working as part of a team to support creating an enjoyable and safe home for residents
This is a developmental role that will grow your ability as a Caregiver and provide you with the skills and knowledge to create a career in healthcare.
This is a casual contract working on an 'if and when required' basis.
Qualifications: About you:
You will be a passionate individual with genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life. To be considered suitable for this role you will bring the following:
Eager ability to learn and pick up new skills
Be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
The ability to work mornings, afternoons and weekends.

$23.84 - $25.50 per hour based on your experience and/or qualifications
Weekend rates of an additional 40 percent of the hourly rate
