About the role
Your caregiving career will thrive working at Springlands Lifestyle Village in Blenheim. Your passionate experience and kindness to provide first-class care for our residents will see you excel in this role.
We have a full-time position working 30 hours per week on offer.
Shifts are as follows: Thursday and Friday - AM. Saturday and Sunday - PM.
Duties:
Provide resident-directed care and support our residents with activities of daily living.
Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse as part of the Care Team.
Foster an environment of acceptance and choice.
Contribute to and demonstrate knowledge and use of resident-directed Care Plans.
Provide support for the family.
Skills and Experience Required:
Health and Wellbeing certificate preferred.
Excellent attitude and demonstrate self-motivation and proactiveness.
Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Empathy and kindness to make a difference in our residents' lives.
