FourSquare Martinborough, a small-footprint supermarket with a big-store butchery, is seeking a Butchery Assistant. We offer a competitive work environment with excellent P&K benefits (discounts at The General Store and Mitre 10 Martinborough).
This is a 4-day week role, 32 hours (Wednesday to Saturday).
In this role, you'll: Prepare top-quality cuts of meat, ensuring exceptional presentation for our customers. Experience is a plus; however, we're willing to train the right person.
Be a Team Player & Customer Champion, working collaboratively with colleagues and independently when needed, and provide outstanding customer service.
Maintain a clean and hygienic butchery, adhering to all food safety practices.
Be eager to learn new skills and develop your knowledge of the meat industry.
You'll be a great fit if you're: Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Flexible, adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous around cleaning and have a strong work ethic.
Willing to learn.
