We provide modern Product design, Graphic design, and Website design services for customers in Australia & New Zealand.
Our mission is to make world-class design accessible and profitable to every single purpose-driven company in the world.
We're looking for our first on-shore Business Development Representative to join us with flexibility around hours.
Who we are We're a design agency that delivers top-tier design services to growing and cool startups in Australia and New Zealand, with plans for expansion into Europe, the UK, and the US.
We are a team of designers who have a tonne of experience working at late-stage, highly profitable scale-ups around the world.
We're different from other agencies in the sense that we slot into our client's existing product development work stream, delivering iteratively rather than all at once and have a flat monthly fee.
The headquarters is in Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand.
On-shore designers are only Aussie or NZ-based - 0% outsourcing, 100% local.
Been there, done that : Senior-level designers with startup and global brand experience (ex-Netflix, ex-Samsung, ex-Apple).
Senior-level designers - that's how we guarantee a quick turnaround.
Affordable and flat fees : Half the cost of a full-time designer.
Same bill every month.
Highly predictable.
Availability - Available all year round.
No contract : Pause and resume based on workload.
You will be responsible for As the BDR for DesignGlad, the main purpose of your role will be to sell and promote our products.
Developing and maintaining existing relationships, you will be expected to generate new business.
Build long-term relationships and develop partner programs to secure leads consistently.
Cold call decision-makers and workaround gatekeepers.
Deeply listen and understand business problems to brief the team internally.
Reach monthly targets and contribute to the overall company goals.
Highly organised - make sure we follow up with prospects on time.
Track progress in our CRM (Hubspot) and report to our CEO.
What is required: Business Development experience.
Proven track record in driving sales and business growth.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Great time self-management skills with an ability to work autonomously and to be self-driven.
Comfortable with computer and digital tools.
Ability to think outside the square and quickly connect the dots.
Experience with Digital/Marketing/Media/Tech companies would be much appreciated.
