About the role: Join our team at P4G Security, a leading brand within the security industry, and drive our mission forward by identifying and converting new business opportunities into lasting client relationships. We are seeking a Business Development Manager, based in Christchurch to expand our client base through strategic sales and relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Take the lead in developing and converting approved security sales opportunities into permanent client contracts. Collaborate with our Operations and General Manager to research and identify new sales prospects, actively promoting P4G Security as the industry leader. Sales Excellence: Qualify leads, coordinate and attend client meetings, develop bid strategies, and participate in presentations. Work closely with management to craft engagement strategies for security sales opportunities, managing key relationships and decision-makers to secure new business. Relationship Management: Ensure all sales activities, including customer interactions, sales planning, and strategy development, are meticulously recorded and managed through our designated CRM system. Develop and maintain a live sales pipeline to track and nurture opportunities. Industry Engagement: Be an active member of relevant industry associations, attend meetings and functions, and review tender submissions to align with our sales strategy and client-specific requirements. About you: Your written and verbal communication skills are second to none, enabling you to craft compelling presentations and effectively influence and build rapport with key internal stakeholders.
