The role offers:The opportunity to work from a great CBD locationHeavily discounted rates on hotel stays for you, your friends, and family across New Zealand and AustraliaOverseeing sales activities for three hotel properties across AucklandPhone and laptop for business and reasonable personal useReporting directly to the Area General ManagerThe opportunity to work with a growing brand across New Zealand and AustraliaThis great opportunity involves:Conducting market research and analysis including monitoring competitor activities to assist in marketing intelligence.Carrying out sales activities for three New Zealand properties based in Auckland.Ensuring that all clients and guest stays are of the highest standard by responding to feedback from groups and corporate clients.Preparing sales reports for weekly and monthly sales meetings with the Executive team and owners.Developing strategic sales business plans for the overall region and/or property and provide input into individual property business plans.Managing all TMC preferred partnership agreements to ensure production targets are met in line with contractual agreements.Targeting potential new key accounts for the property through TMC's or direct with Procurement Managers.Representing Nesuto at various events, tradeshows, exhibitions, and conferences.Developing relationships & partnerships with neighboring venues to expand customer base for group accommodation opportunities.Conducting sales activity as required onsite, offsite & regionally with clients to drive increased sales volumes and brand awareness.Updating all online tender platforms with current hotel product information.Working closely with both the Director of Commercial and Director of Sales to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the group.The ideal applicant will be:Charismatic: We love building relationships and providing support.Intuitive: We anticipate what to do and how to act.A leader: We are all leaders in our business.Organised: An eye for detail is a must.Positive: We come to work with a great attitude and a solution-focused mindset.A suitable candidate will have:Proven sales experience in the hotel and hospitality industryAn advanced knowledge of the Auckland market and hotel industryAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsHigh-level business acumenValid NZ Drivers LicenseApplicants must have a valid visa or be eligible to work in New Zealand.It is an amazing time to get on board and join our team.
