Your Impact
Based in our Boundary Road Brewery at Papakura , this is your opportunity to be hands-on across all aspects of crafting beer! From malt handling, wort production, fermentation, and beer filtration - you couldn't get closer to the action. You'll be well supported in developing your Brewing expertise by working with skilled colleagues and navigating through a mix of well-established processes and some unexpected challenges that require great problem-solving skills.
This position requires availability to work on a rotating shift roster with a mix of days, afternoons, and nights.
Some key responsibilities will include:
Operating the Brewhouse to produce high-quality work
Cellar work involving fermented beer movements and fermentation management
Filtration of beer
Chemical and gas analysis of finished beer with basic quality control checks
About You
We're looking for people passionate about beer and with a great teamwork ethic. You'll also need to be comfortable with shift work, able to work well both on your own and in team environments, and be fit to work in the factory environment.
Sound like you? Other key things we're looking for include:
Previous beverage or FMCG experience and/or manufacturing process experience (any liquids)
Computer literacy and confidence working with numbers
Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with the wider team
Eager to develop and learn
