"PLANT MANAGER"
Platinum Recruitmentare excited to partner once again withthis international success story in the FMCG space. We are searching for an outstanding Plant Manager for the largest plant in their national group.
If you have extensive management experience in the food processing/ manufacturing industry, are not timid, are up for making a difference & seeing the results - then I want to talk to you.
The Role:
You will be the senior manager of 12 direct reports & 280+ FTEs. Will oversee financial budgeting, provide leadership & direction for the overall success of the plant with specific commitment to H&S & respective legislation. Be accountable for a large 24/ 7 & 365 days / year operation.
Proven experience in:
(preferably within NZ Food processing/ FMCG manufacturing)
* Driving success across a large site / multi- sites
* Proven experience in a fast paced, demanding environment
* Showing you are no wall-flower & not afraid of long production hours
* Health & Safety across diverse groups
* Operational & financial responsibilities
* Client & stakeholder relationships
* Project Management
* Team leadership - personnel management
* Production
* Quality & Compliance
* Engineering & maintenance
* Cold storage – internal & external
* Freight & logistics
* Procurement
* Operating costs
* Thorough understanding of CI & Lean strategies
Personal Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Financially & commercially astute
Proven understanding of the NZ Food processing sector
Sound IT competencies
Professional approach to customer service & providing the best in market
Immediate NZ work visa
