As a Beauty and Gift Merchandiser, you will play a key role in enhancing product presentation and ensuring the correct execution of promotional activities. Your responsibilities will include maintaining in-store merchandising, managing inventory, and working closely with our airport retail partners.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality products for our customers and are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Beauty and Gift Merchandiser to join our dynamic airport retail team. This role is crucial for enhancing our product presentation and driving sales within our beauty and gift categories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail merchandising, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for visual presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute on-shelf and stock merchandising displays for beauty and gift products, highlighting promotions and best sellers.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective planograms.
Ensure correct branding materials are displayed, addressing any issues promptly.
Maintain well-stocked, organised displays that reflect current branding initiatives.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with the account manager.
Conduct regular audits to ensure all products are accounted for and presented correctly.
Work closely with management and airport retail teams to align merchandising principles and resolve any product-related issues.
Experience:
Retail merchandising experience preferred, particularly in beauty and gift categories.
Proven track record of successful merchandising strategies that drive sales.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication abilities in both small and large group settings.
Attention to detail and commitment to brand standards.
Adaptability to a fast-paced retail environment.
Proficiency in technology for reporting and communication.

Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work hours including weekends and holidays as needed for airport schedules.
Energetic nature to maintain the expansive retail premises within the airport.
Ability to meet security clearance requirements for an airport identity card.
Working Conditions:
Part-Time Permanent role (3 days per week + 1 occasional weekend day).
Fast-paced retail environment within an airport setting, this role covers Auckland International and Domestic Airport Retail Environment (including Manawa Bay outlet/s).
Adherence to airport security protocols and procedures.
Car Parking costs will be covered by the company.
