Bas Accountant - Part Time

We are a well established Chartered Accounting practice with a modern office in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland. We are on a lookout for a BAS Accountant to join our practice on a part time basis. The role would involve: Preparation of annual accounts, workpapers and tax returns to review stagePreparation of monthly and quarterly management accountsResponsible for preparing annual accounts (Start to finish) using XEROPreparation and filing of GSTExperience with NZ TaxProvide clients with Xero supportSupport clients with queries and resolve tax issues i.e. IRDThe successful applicant will ideally demonstrate and have:  Bachelors degree and or equivalentNew Zealand CA firm experience 1-3 years (A Must)Excellent communication skills both written and verbalGood knowledge of NZ TaxBe proficient in Xero applicationsAbility to use Xero: Practice Manager and workpapersAttention to detail and accuracyEfficiency in delivery of work and ability to multi taskNew Zealand accounting firm experience using Xero is essential.
