Mo te turanga - About the role
As a Banking Consultant in our Personal Banking Branch Network, this role is based mainly in branches, providing customers with a seamless banking experience, through meeting each customer's end-to-end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating them on the financial solutions available, including digital. They have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions, as well as have in-depth needs-based conversations and fulfill products as per their accreditation level. They will deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are not only satisfied but strong advocates for ANZ.

As a Banking Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:

Provide our customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting each customer's end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating them on digital solutions,
Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience,
Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value,
Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives,
Take responsibility to 'know your customer' from a risk perspective, and
Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage,
Experience in being a user and promoter of technology - working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage,
Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity,
Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment,
Sound understanding of compliance, and
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
