Your role will be to ensure our clients have a world class experience which results in them becoming raving fans, while also ensuring balance for you as the technician. Our priority is growing an amazing team – so the clients win, and YOU win.
Our support team manage all the bookings, you just need show up and put your skills to work.
Full training is provided. This includes two weeks in Auckland. Accommodation and travel expenses are covered by Auto Diagnostics.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You'll be working on a wide variety of interesting jobs across Wellington. Some of these include:
ADAS Active driver assistance system - alignment and calibration
Performing electronic diagnostics on cars and other vehicles to identify faults
Repairing electrical and electronic faults in cars and motor vehicles, replacing damaged/faulty parts where necessary
Performing checks and tests to verify the success of repair work
Assembling and installing electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles
Basic knowledge of how to remove and install vehicle parts eg. Bumper, trim panels, mirrors
Complete pre and post scans with OE and/or aftermarket tools, communicate outcome effectively
Communicate with the support team to ensure efficiency and productivity
Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We really need you to:
Have valid rights to work in NZ and be fluent in English
Be a dynamic go-getter with experience in Auto Electrical Diagnostics - you can be a Qualified Auto Electrician, Qualified Mechanic, Installer or you can still be in training
Have a clean full NZ driver's license
Mechanical/Automotive workshop experience is an advantage
Have a great attitude combined with a practical mindset – you can think on your feet
Be able to work unsupervised
Be honest and trustworthy
