The company:Operating globally for nearly 50 years, this multidisciplinary consultancy has won numerous awards for the delivery of iconic projects. Aside from the quality of their projects, what sets this consultancy apart is their focus on technical excellence. The role:With ambitious growth plans for their New Zealand business, on top of impressive growth across other disciplines in the past 5 years, they now require an Associate Director-Civil Engineering to sit alongside the NZ Director. The role involves delivering civil projects while growing and leading a team simultaneously. Existing projects span site development of structural projects across commercial, industrial, and residential, as well as some exciting opportunities across larger scale infrastructure as a result of technical expertise in Australia opening doors for them. You will initially be required to get your hands dirty designing yourself, although as the team grows this will diminish. There is currently contract resource that can be used, as well as resources in Australia available to tap into in order to deliver while growing the team. You:Will be an experienced Civil Engineer, with a proven track record of designing complex civil projects, preferably in Auckland, but at least in New Zealand. It is expected this would mean a minimum of approximately 7 years of experience. You will need to be a strong communicator and some experience mentoring or managing younger Engineers and Technicians would be viewed favorably. In return:A market leading salary, performance incentives that include profit share of the NZ business, a leadership role within a growing business, and a pathway to equity in the global business (did I mention that it is 100% employee owned?). Financially this is the most lucrative role I have seen for a long time.Curious? Then why not get in touch via email or phone to find out more (in confidence obviously). It's hard to describe how awesome this role is through an ad, so I would welcome the chance to run the role past you.James ******
