As the successful candidate you will be an experienced midwife who has the clinical and organisational skills to the work both in our Birthing Suite and Maternity Ward.The role rotates between both areas of our facility. Complex care is also an advantage as are any other postgraduate papers.To learn more about us check out this video wai koe | About You This role requires you to work as an experienced midwife within our multidisciplinary team, coordinating clinical care, flow of women and their babies through our service and clinical support of staff so they can provide the level of midwifery care to women and their babies that is required in a secondary/ tertiary maternity hospital. Confidence to make decisions in the after hours management of the unit with support from the on call manager is an integral aspect of this role. Outside of normal business hours the role of the ACMM is that of duty manager for the Women's Hospital. Christchurch Women's Hospital sits on the Christchurch Hospital campus. This role also supports some of the transfers in from the secondary maternity units that transfer to us as well as the CDHB community maternity units.
