We are looking for a person who can lead the store and develop an extensive team via a positive customer / team centric style. This role reports to the Owners. This is a small store and will be a hands on role!The key responsibilities are:Leading, coaching and supporting the management team where needed.This role will include buying for three key departments.Having an inventory focus and ensuring our store is meeting all key metrics.Ensuring the store's presentation expectations are being met.Being involved in manager goal setting to ensure required objectives are being met then supporting where needed.Working with some of the department management team to achieve the stores KPIsEnsuring the stores compliance work is being undertaken as required.People management including wage and hours budgets, rostering, recruitment, training coordination, performance and disciplinary management where required.Being the delegate in charge of the store when the Owners are awayThe key qualifications and skills required are:A minimum of two years' experience in a management role leading large teams in a supermarket or retail environment, preferably within the Foodstuffs GroupAn eye for detail and ability to guide the presentation of the complete storeSupermarket compliance knowledge including food safety and health & safety in a retail environmentExceptional training and communication skills and have the ability to lead from the frontHigh level of IT systems and computer skills.
