Job Description
Join Oaks Wellington Hotel as our new full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager. This is your opportunity to supervise the day to day operation of a successful Restaurant and Food & Beverage department.
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:
Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant, bistro and conferences.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's food and beverage features to promote to clients.
Liaise with the kitchen during service periods to ensure quality service and presentation.
Supervise, train and assist Food & Beverage Attendants.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience gained in a similar role.
Previous experience working within formal dining and a bar environment.
A current RSA certificate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
A high level of self-motivation and confidence.
Availability to work a variety of shifts including breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts on a rotating roster.
