Assistant Accountant – Banking

Takapuna, AucklandPermanentTrading as the TV Shop, Brand Developers Limited is one of Australasia's leading direct response television companies selling quality products that are household names across Fitness, Homeware, DIY and Lifestyle.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will primarily be responsible for performing daily bank reconciliations for up to ten bank accounts (denominated in NZD, AUD, USD and GBP), entering transactions into the general ledger that are not captured via the accounts payable and receivable subledgers, and ensuring unreconciled transactions are dealt with in a timely manner. You will also assist with month end completion and reporting and undertake Finance administration tasks.We are looking for someone who will compliment our high performing Finance team. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to multi task. You will have a methodical approach, be organised under pressure, and capable of handling large volumes of transactions, ensuring they are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
