As an Asset Management Officer, you will hold a critical role in overseeing and optimising the flood mitigation infrastructure within the Northland region. You will focus on managing, maintaining, and strategically planning flood mitigation assets, including Dams, stopbanks, spillways, floodwalls and floodgates. Your role will have a direct impact on protecting our communities within Te Taitokerau. This role requires an understanding of asset management principles, engineering practices, and regulatory compliance specific to flood control infrastructure. Do you have what it takes? We are looking for someone who can bring the following to our diverse talent pool: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.Proven experience in asset management is highly advantageous.Knowledge of flood control principles, hydraulic engineering, is advantageous.Familiarity with relevant government regulations and standards specific to flood mitigation infrastructure in the Northland region.Knowledge of INFOR enterprise software would be useful.Project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
