Te Whakahaerenga/ The Organisation Nurse Maude is a well-known and highly regarded organisation, who have been providing healthcare services to the community for over 120 years. We have recently been contracted by the New Zealand Nursing Council to administer Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), as part of the registration process for internationally qualified nurses.
Te Mahi/About the Position The Assessment Support play a vital role in the regulatory examination process.
Working casually, a typical shift may see you achieve the following:
Role play - closely follow the script provided for a specific character in a scenario-based assessment; this may be a patient, by-stander, health professional or similar.Providing a realistic clinical simulated experience for candidates.Supporting examiners and technicians to ensure the OSCE station is consistently set up, as outlined in the scenario instructions, for examinations.Supporting the team with administrative tasks to ensure a smooth operation.Successful applicants will also be required to read and familiarise themselves with a given script in the days ahead of their shift; attend training and calibration sessions, as required.
