Assembly Technician (Full term & Fixed Term) New We are currently looking for a passionate Assembly Technician to join our friendly team at our head office based in Manukau!
Tasks & Responsibilities: Main responsibility in assembling laptops/desktops.
Carry out assembly/building of new PCs, desktops, and laptops.
Ensuring tasks are completed on time, to quality and procedural standards by meeting customers' expectations.
Carry out upgrading/renewal and maintenance of ex-lease PCs, laptops, phones, tablets, cameras, and gaming products.
Liaise with Returns & Warranty Department regarding warranty process in relation to all new or upgraded PCs and other technology products.
Test any work conducted on all new or upgraded PCs/machines.
Label, package, and arrange shipments: re-tape the box, label with correct codes, arrange pallets for shipment, and ensure tight wrapping for better stability of pallets.
Submit a daily task/activity list to the Assembly Team Leader and update the job's status in the system upon job completion.
Any other supporting projects if required.
Requirements: The successful candidate must have the following attributes:
Diploma level qualification in IT/Electronics (Preferred)
Excellent computer knowledge on systems and networking including Microsoft Office.
IT-related products and applications knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent team player.
