The position is a full-time dairy role but could include some mixed work. Experienced veterinarians and graduates with an interest in dairy are encouraged to apply.You will require a good attitude, sense of humour, and the ability to work well in a team environment. We are an Immigration Accredited Employer and have experience with visa applications.We are well established in the local community:The practice has a strong client base of owner-operator farmers. We have the usual routine and emergency work, plus plenty of surgery. The clinic also offers whole farm preventive programs, Accredited Mastitis investigations, Body Condition Scoring, Nutritional advisory service, In-Calf programs, and benchmarking farm performance.We provide a competitive salary package with above award rates. A 4x4 vehicle, smartphone, and all necessary veterinary equipment are provided. Our experienced veterinary team has good support structures in place for younger veterinarians and assistance with applications for additional MPI bonding scheme grants for graduates.This position is suitable for an outdoor enthusiast, with ski-fields close by, and tramping, biking, and fishing all on our doorstep.
