About the role
Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is formerly known as Northland DHB.
Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for Anaesthetic Technicians.
If you choose Whangarei as your base location, you also have the option of working in Kaitaia for a few days to explore the beautiful surroundings.
The purpose of this position is to provide safe operational anaesthetic and ancillary equipment to anaesthetists in the operating theatre. In this role, you will provide direct clinical assistance to anaesthetists and intensivists, maintaining a high standard of patient care.
You will be a part of an integrated operating theatre team with a commitment to ensuring the efficient functioning of the operating theatre.
These are permanent full-time opportunities; however, we also welcome applicants who prefer to work part-time.

Key Requirements

Certificate/Diploma in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent
Registered with the Medical Science Council of New Zealand
Current Practicing Certificate
Demonstrate an ability to practice in a culturally safe manner
