About the role We are looking for an experienced Anaesthetic Technician with a strong background to:
Promote, facilitate, and provide education and support in clinical skills, policies and procedures to our newer Anaesthetic team members.
Support current staff learning new specialty procedures.

About you We're looking for a registered anaesthetic technician with strong credible clinical leadership skills.
You will also have the following:
A current New Zealand Registration and APC.
Previous preceptorship experience or Adult teaching qualifications would be an advantage.
A first-rate knowledge of professional standards and regulations for Anaesthetic Technicians with impeccable practice standards and specialty knowledge.
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.

Salary range This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the APEX Anaesthetic Technicians CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the designated pay scale, between $111,240 and $117,420 p.a depending on relevant experience.
