Our Agronomists are responsible for delivering expert technical on-farm grain and seed services to Farmlands shareholders, as well as internal retail and sales teams. This senior role includes providing technical advice and training as well as the use of the relevant chemical products to our internal and external customers. This role will be based in the Lower North Island region. As a member of the Farmlands Agronomy Leadership team you will be required to take the lead on some key strategic shareholder accounts, while supporting other internal Sales & Retail teams to add valuable technical knowledge for their shareholders. Interacting with our Technical Field Officers on technical information and chemical products is an integral part of this role. The successful applicant will have a passion for arable and pastoral farming and be fully conversant with the latest agronomy techniques and current livestock farming systems and have well established networks in the rural sector.
