Purposes

The Pacific Area Human Resource Department is seeking to appoint a well-organized, detailed-oriented and customer focused individual for the role of Administrative Assistant within the Human Resources Department. This is a full-time position located at the Pacific Area Office in Takapuna, New Zealand.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks; processes HR transactions and resolves problems independently with minimal supervision
Participates and contributes to the HR Process and Compliance Team with routine and non-routine tasks, duties and assignments
Actively engages in learning about the organization’s business, employee populations and organizational culture and contributes to counsels to provide effective HR services
Produces HR documents, records and information with excellent data accuracy
Is customer focused and professional with a passion to build the Lord’s talent storehouse
Builds relationships of trust through effective and sincere communication with a high level of confidentiality, personal accountability and integrity
Is willing to continually learn, grow, improve and personally develop in the role
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, or related discipline, or is currently studying toward a qualification in HR or related discipline (a combination of education and experience may be considered)
At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative, clerical, personal assistant, or secretarial role
Knowledge of Human Resource principles, practices and considerations
Business-level communication skills (written and oral) with proficiency in English
Advanced skills in MS Office suite, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
