About Northland Ferries: With history dating back over 100 years, Northland Ferries provides reliable and efficient transport options for local communities and visitors across the Northland region in the Bay of Islands and Hokianga Harbour.
Our vehicle and passenger ferries operate year-round and can accommodate a variety of vehicles, from motorbikes to large trucks and trailers.
As an integral part of the community, we also assist local emergency services with after-hours support to help keep our communities safe.
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Administration Coordinator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is based in the beautiful Bay of Islands and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ferry services, ensuring smooth and efficient processes and working closely with our Marine and Tourism Operations team.
Key Responsibilities: Manage administrative tasks such as stock takes, stores orders, and system maintenance (Timefiler and CustomLinc).
Oversee financial duties including accounts payable, invoicing, and cashier functions.
Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting with ferry card sales and inquiries.
Actively participate in our Health & Safety committee, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
Support other teams as needed during busy periods or special events.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in administration and financial processes.
Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems like CustomLinc and Timefiler.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
