We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our dynamic team at Sharlene Darragh Accountants Limited in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This is a part-time opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in supporting our clients' accounting needs.
What you'll be doing
Providing excellent customer service to clients by addressing enquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
Assisting with preparation of GST and wages for clients.
Assisting with general Xero support
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role, ideally within an accounting firm or a small business.
An understanding of accounting practices, and software mainly Xero.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Effective communication and customer service skills
What we offer
The role is for approximately 25 hours per week. A portion of the hours could be work from home with a minimum of 10 hours in office per week. The hours could be flexible around other commitments. Or the hours could be three days per week with four day weekend.
