Accountant - Client Finance Manager

With a unique structure founded on a co-operative model, CES delivers as a commercially orientated and professional organisation, leveraging their extensive knowledge base to provide support, products and advice to over 200 schools and a range of not-for-profit clients.Reporting to the Company Accountant, this role combines the unique opportunity to use your financial expertise while developing and managing successful education client relationships. The key focus is on providing high quality accounting, financial, administrative and advisory services to clients. This will include analysing financial reports prepared by Finance Officers and constructing graphical summaries with a meaning commentary to clarify the financial position. As the Client Finance Manager, the resulting positive working relationships are achieved by providing high quality services and interacting regularly with clients.Other responsibilities include preparation of annual accounts and budgets as well as presentations to Boards and Principals as needed. This is achieved by working closely with Finance Officers. This is a part time role but being able to increase hours at peak times would be useful.We are seeking applicants from an accounting or financial services background with proven experience in relationship management. You need to show evidence of the ability to build sustainable relationships, possess well developed communication skills and experience in confident presentations. Knowledge of the Education sector would be an advantage. We are looking for a team player with strong problem solving and time management capabilities as well as sound analytical and report writing skills.
