Job DescriptionThe role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: Prepare Monthly and full-year financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, bank and statutory bodies.Prepare monthly & yearly cash flow forecasts and management reports with ability to support decision making about future cashflow, loan management, cost & revenue decisions.Prepare monthly and yearly Consolidated Financial statements (BS & PL) and Statement of changes in equity.Regular reporting on sales volume, price performance, cost metrics, Trading metrics and profitability.Prepare & Analysis on overall cost minimisation and Job costing & Project costing.Preparation of compliance reporting PAYE, GST, FBT, Income tax and annual accounts for IRD.Provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations.Ensure optimum use of IRD Tax policies to minimise all kinds tax and handles disputes with NZ taxation authorities.Ensure all accounting records & reports are prepared & maintained in accordance with NZ Tax law, IAS & IFRS.Setup, implement and maintain Simpro management software for Inventory, costing, manage Job, project and overall operations.Setup, implement and maintain Xero, Xero payroll and Spotlight reporting software for financial accounting, reporting and Taxation purpose.Train up colleagues and advising on application of computer-based accounting and operational systems and implement best practice accounting principles throughout the business.Prepare and update the Fixed assets schedule & all entries in the softwareEnsure best practice of Fund management, Accounts Payable, Receivables and Credit control.Prepare and maintain Payroll system weekly for 25 plus employees and contractors.Prepare bank reconciliation and all other reconciliation reports using Xero and Simpro.All kinds of general ledger Journal preparation and process to close month and year end accounts.Set up internal control system and guide the operation, stock, procurement and administration team to follow the internal control system.Prepare SOP for finance, accounts, Inventory, costing, internal control and Fixed asset management related works.
