At MIT, you will work with some incredible people who are passionate about the positive impact we make on the communities we serve. We offer a work environment that values genuine people who care for others, are well-connected, open and approachable, and strive for excellence in all we do. We are committed to creating and maintaining a culturally sensitive work environment in relation to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
MIT is committed to ensuring our workforce reflects the diversity of our tauira (students) and the rich cultures represented within the local community we serve. We know how important it is for our tauira and kaimahi (staff) to have their culture and values reflected in our way of working and in the people we recruit. To support this, MIT seeks to grow the number of Maori and Pasifika kaimahi across our Institute and gives recognition to applicants who demonstrate Maori and/or Pasifika cultural knowledge and skills.
