RESPONSIBILITIES Attend and resolve field escalations from Regional offices and Business Partners Keep constant communication on field service matters Escalate to HQ for unresolved cases, liaise between Regional offices and Business Partners and HQ for service matters Download, digest and distribute Service Information/Bulletins to Regional offices and Business Partners Verify for machine DOA cases. Carry out compensation claims process with HQ for defective parts Attend service training for new products and carry out service training to Regional offices and Business Partners Provide assistance for on-site installation when required especially for 1st installations Support Regional Marketing on product demonstrations, specifications, samples Carry out rework as directed by HQ on specified machines eg. labels, power cords Confirm and check damaged machines/consumables/parts in warehouse for insurance claims Liaise with external vendors for trainings and certifications as well as hardware repairs/returns and field issues REQUIREMENTS Experience in service and support of Production Printers will be an advantage Preferable to have some experience with Color Management in digital printers Able to travel at short notice, work independently under pressure and tight deadlines Able to quickly understand and grasp field issues escalated from Regional offices and Business Partners Inquisitive, motivated self-starter and able to self-learn from service materials provided keen to explore new methods to help to resolve issues.
